What My Readers Have to Say

This is a great story regarding a mysterious and super-efficient Malcolm, a Pulitzer Prize-seeking reporter Maryshia and a what-if plot that immediately drew me into the story so that I couldn’t put the book down! The story takes place in western New York, northern Ohio and western Pennsylvania. I loved reading about places I recognized in New York and Pennsylvania. When some of the other characters that we meet in the book have their moment with the criminal justice system, their “choice”
going forward is surprising and makes the story uplifting. However, some characters didn’t choose as
well. I absolutely love happy endings, especially one that I didn’t see coming. A fun read!

I loved this light mystery that I couldn't put down. It kept me interested in the fact that it was not predictable. I can't wait for more of these novels from her!
